    Not sure why I am so negative about it, but “living in an IKEA™ House” sounds like something directly from /r/LateStageCapitalism to me.

      the fact that it's housing being provided by what is basically an upscale furniture and home-appliance store probably has a lot to do with it, lol. there's really no way to make that not sound...

      the fact that it's housing being provided by what is basically an upscale furniture and home-appliance store probably has a lot to do with it, lol. there's really no way to make that not sound classically dystopian or excessively capitalistic, even if it's being done for ostensibly good reasons, because functionally-private corporations really shouldn't have to be having to provide low-cost housing in the first place and it's nearly impossible to think it comes without a catch.
