    I've had the pleasure to do a glacier hike in Iceland. We went into a depression in the ice and could see down into the splits in the ice. I believe we were explicitly told not to go past an ice...

    I've had the pleasure to do a glacier hike in Iceland. We went into a depression in the ice and could see down into the splits in the ice. I believe we were explicitly told not to go past an ice pick, as if we fell we were not coming back out. I hope these people can be rescued, but it looked like a hellish way to get stuck.
