Chris Helzer is the Director of Science for the Nebraska Nature Conservancy. He writes one of my favorite blogs. This week he shared photos of the life going on in the mud. I can see that the season is changing, but even spring "feels" like it is on pause like the rest of us as we navigate this new normal. So it was particularly refreshing to have Chris spotlight the life going about its business like nothing is going on. It encouraged me to go out into my own yard and look for the smaller creatures that are emerging and becoming busy. OMG there's a ton of it!
