I liked this article because the farmers showcased in it come from conventional farming backgrounds. There's a lot of financial risk involved in switching from one form of farming to another, and this article speaks to that and the results of a couple of farmers who are making the transition.
I'd like to add though, that though I think that this is good news, a good portion of our farmland is not owned any longer by families, but instead owned by investors and corporations who control how that land is farmed. Family farms can only do so much. These other entities need to be held accountable to how they using our soil.
