      I think you're off by a few decimal points. According to Nadella himself: I mean, technically 0.045% is less than 5% too, but the actual percentage is likely ~4.5% not 0.045%. If 10,000 people was...

      I think you're off by a few decimal points. According to Nadella himself:

      The move will reduce Microsoft’s head count by less than 5%, and some employees will find out this week if they’re losing their jobs, he wrote.

      I mean, technically 0.045% is less than 5% too, but the actual percentage is likely ~4.5% not 0.045%. If 10,000 people was only 0.045% of their workforce then MS would employ 22,220,000 people, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't. ;)
