The sad thing is everyone against it could have told the people voting for it that it was a bad thing. I remember it got approved before Trump got voted in and I was thinking when we voted in Trump we were doing the American thing of, "Oh yeah? hold my beer" to U.K.

The one thing I'll say about over there is it sounds like people given evidence are willing to say, "oh, yeah, that was bad" where as our trumpers have doubled down sigh. Same thing with anti vaccers. When shown the asshole who started the anti vacc movement (in order to sell his measles vaccine) was a scam, from what I understand english people turned on him. American anti vaccers doubled down on it instead (I've even heard of crazy anti rabies vaccine sentiment!!!! And I know there was a lady who kid when through tetanus and saw what it did who still refused a vaccine for him afterwards when he managed to survive).

Why are our idiots so damned stubbern?
