    A great little bit from Cory Doctorow, writing up a nice narrative surrounding some new research confirming what most of us who lived it knew:

    That neoliberal approaches to 'monopoly power' were abject failures. And that an awful lot of ills spawn out of it.

    I chose to link this article, and not the excellent sources cited within, mostly because the narrative ties the room together, but also because of this closing punch:

    In assembling this novel, high-quality data-set, the researchers on this paper have performed an important service, capturing a vast number of sworn confessions of highly paid enshittifiers, and then showing how their hostage-taking wrecked competition, prices, wages, jobs and innovation.
