Not sure if anyone really followed them, but CH was basically the last "big" online sketch comedy platforms after FunnyOrDie and Cracked got hit with the layoff stick a little while ago. It seems like the scope for making money being funny on the internet is basically dead now unless you want to go the independent influencer route. The production values involved seem prohibitively high to even manage on YouTube.
What a shame. The internet truly is serious business, these days. CH had a good run, I hope all of those laid off find fun and rewarding and personally fulfilling new jobs in short order.
