Stumbled across this one that I hadn't seen before. Posting it because I thought the history was interesting - basically, it could be argued that Taco Bell is way closer to being legitimate tacos than most people think.

Same with hard-shell tacos - probably closer to the original tacos than what we think of as most authentic (the Mexican street taco with meat, onion, cilantro in a corn tortilla).

If nothing else, "What is a taco?" is a surprisingly difficult question to answer. :)
