I was in Greenland a couple of months ago for work. For such an isolated place I was surprised to find a Chinese restaurant run by a Vietnamese couple and serving a very good pork rib sandwich! It turns out there's a fair migrant population from various southeast Asian countries that come over during the fishing season to work on trawlers.

I also tried matak, which in this case came from narwhal. The fat was fantastic, the skin much less so (very chewy and with little flavour to it), but definitely an experience. A fascinating place to visit overall.
