To be honest, I'm not really following this tournament, but I was team Nepo last year and I'm even more so today. Not only because he's a legitimately cool dude with a good fashion sense (I'm superficial, sue me lol), but also because everyone loves a comeback.

On the other hand, an American World Champion would probably be good for the sport as a whole, so I wouldn't be too sad if Hikaru won. Hikaru gets a lot of hate, sometimes deserved, but he's got a strong work ethic, managing to be the #1 chess streamer and on the top ten is an admirable feat.

And while Firouzja is undeniably brilliant, maybe he just need to get a bit older.
