The gameplay for The Final Shape is looking absolutely stellar! Bungie is correct when they said they were holding things close to their chest, these changes look MASSIVE. Never did I think we'd get a chance to mix and match subclasses or mix and match exotic perks and combine them, even between other classes!
I, like many Destiny 2 players, am currently burnt out after having played a thousand hours since Witch Queen, but I'm ready for another good expansion and to wrap up the story.
Additionally, Into the Light came out yesterday, their new game mode/story/weapon drops leading into The Final Shape. The main new thing is a wave based defense game. It actually plays quite well, and you spend the rewards you get in a new Shaxx themed social space where you can unlock some of his "forbidden" weapons (previously sunset weapons). It's a free thing, so definitely log in to try it, I had more fun than I thought I would yesterday.
