open ended progression system
This is probably intentionally vague, but it's so vague as to not mean anything. Does "open ended" mean "no end" and players will level forever (BDO), or will there be multiple paths to getting "end game" armor (GW2), or will there be no end game at all?
Forming guilds to take on greater challenges [...] will be a good idea if you want to survive
My first (likely unfair) thought was "oh great, no single-player experience." They could simply be trying to encourage existing player guilds from other games to all try the game out at once, which makes sense for them to want.
Each tree can be individually chopped down, complete with a physical falling annimation
I haven't seen recommended specs, but that seems like either resource scarcity, or a lot of things to render.
PvP seems to be at the very focal heart of the game
Depending on how this is implemented, it could be pretty dividing for the playerbase: some want a lot of pvp, others, pve.
currently when you die you drop all of your gear which can then be looted by other players
Now I understand the "made the game feel like a survival game in the vein of Rust, Conan Exiles or Ark" portion, and where I started to (personally) loose interest.
I've been looking forward to this game for a long time! It seems to have enough differences from the preceding years of cookie cutter MMO releases to really be worth dumping some hours into. I'm...

I'm not sure how much I like the idea of losing everything when I die, especially with a big PvP focus (feels too DayZ to me), but I'd give it a shot anyway. Hopefully it has a good raiding experience.

I have my eyes on this and Ashes of Creation, both look eye-candy and promising but we'll see.
