It's ridiculous that we've reached a point where it feels necessary to include a plea to not track down and harass the developers in a game release announcement.

Finally, we’ve got just one favour to ask – however you feel about this, please keep any criticism to the studio as a whole, and don’t take it out on individual employees that you might find on various social media platforms.). We get it. It’s unexpected. But they’re not going to be able to change anything, and probably weren’t the ones who made the decision regardless.

Very surprising announcement from Total War this afternoon. Troy the next Saga game will be a 1 year Epic Games Store exclusive and will be free to keep if you "buy" it within 24 hours of release....

Epic have been giving away games like crazy the past few months but giving away a game on the day of its release is a new one. They must have paid big money or CA have low expectations for the Troy game, as ToB wasn't particularly well received, it's monthly average player rate is lower than all the main games, including Rome 1 and has been since the month after its release.

It's a pretty strange looking game, but Sludge Life just released on Epic on May 28, and is free for a year. The devs of it previously made Heavy Bullets and High Hell together.
