I never watched his steam but the game he was working on, Everland, seems like an interesting project. My friends that did play wow, at least whenever I would observe them seemed to spend the majority of their time just loitering around rather than really playing. The game seemed like a vestigial obligation to socialise with the guilds and networks formed in it so making a mmo that drops the pretense makes a lot of sense.
With the passing of Reckful this gives context to those, like me, on who he was and why this hits the Live Streaming world so hard.
