I'm really not a fighting game player, but I always enjoy reading David Sirlin's writing and opinions about game design. Because of that, I was always vaguely interested in this game, but not really enough to buy it. I'll definitely have to give it a shot now that it's free.

So, I've been playing this game for a few days now, and I do think it deserves some attention. It's fun, it's innovative, and it's made by an indie dev (isn't it?).

It's great to be able to finally play this game with the influx of new players after having backed the failed fig crowd fund and the paid version failing to gain any traction in my region.
I've always been more of an RTS/FPS player and have found this considerably more accessible than the other fighting games I've tried to get into such as Streetfighter and even Smash bros.
