Fitness Weekly Discussion
What have you been doing lately for your own fitness? Try out any new programs or exercises? Have any questions for others about your training? Want to vent about poor behavior in the gym? Started a new diet or have a new recipe you want to share? Anything else health and wellness related?
I did two runs this week: just 15 minutes alternating between walking for one minute then running for one minute. I'll probably continue this for another week before bumping up the running time, or whenever it feels right. No pain or stiffness the next day either which is great.
Unfortunately I just found out my partner was in close contact with someone on Monday who tested positive for COVID yesterday. So now we're just waiting at home for the next while to see if we get it/develop symptoms.
We're all vaccinated but I'm super anxious about it. So for now I'm just trying not to think about it and hoping to get another run in this week. The weather has been getting more spring-like which is a bit of a mood booster.
I was able to get out for an outdoor bike ride a few days ago. The time switch helped for sure with extra daylight after work. Outside of that I’ve been doing plenty of Ring Fit, and I’ve been going to my weekly yoga classes on Thursdays.
