    My lifting is still progressing, slowly but surely...

    Boxing is getting more fun. Starting to work on defense some more (blocking+countering, parrying+countering, slipping+countering) and interpreting reads from the instructor. That is, he's no longer calling out what he expects from me, but giving me a little signal (e.g. shaking his mitt a bit before he throws a jab) and I respond in kind (e.g. slipping the jab and countering with a straight). He'll start slow but then begin to go faster and mix it up. Really tests the reflexes!
