    My knee has been feeling better for about a week now. I've done some light cycling and some squats to test the waters and so far so good! I might do a super short run soon, just to test things...

    My knee has been feeling better for about a week now. I've done some light cycling and some squats to test the waters and so far so good! I might do a super short run soon, just to test things further before I go to physio next week. I do miss running a lot though. I quit drinking almost a month ago and not being able to run has made it extra hard to get through the boredom phase.

    In the meantime, I've been doing a lot more weight training and calisthenics. I recently purchased some wall anchors and resistance bands to give me some more workout options. Also, in anticipation of winter, I've been slowly accumulating more outdoor gear to make being active outdoors more palatable. Winter has always been a bit of a dark time for me, so I'm trying to make the most of it this year. So far I got some new winter boots and some decent snowshoes. I got some ice skates last year, but it was a bit late in the season so I never got to use them. Snowshoe and skating season is still a ways away, but I will be ready!
