    My knee has continued to feel better, and I went for my first run in over a month. Just a short, 6 minute run (~1.8 kilometers). It felt amazing to get back out there and I could have run for longer if I wasn't trying to take it easy. I felt some mild knee pain right after, but it went away by the evening.

    Then I had physio yesterday, and he thinks what I have is runners knee. He gave me some stretches to do daily/after runs and said to keep running but take it easy and stop if I feel any pain. This is the best outcome I was hoping for and I'm in a much better mood than I have been for a while. I'm going to go for another short run tomorrow morning and continue to keep them short and spaced out by a few days for a while.

    Also, with winter coming I've been trying to figure out what I will need. It gets fairly cold and snowy where I live, but I should have a few months before it gets really cold. The running subreddit has a pretty good sticky thread about winter running tips. Anyone on here have any good tips or advice?
