Share your DIY projects

I am currently trying to learn how to fix things myself by learning how to solder and fix things like that. I also want to DIY some things for quite some time.

My current project is working through the book Make:Electronics , I bought it at humblebundle some years ago. Yesterday I powered a led via a power outlet for the first time, by connecting it to a cut off USB cable. I'll share a picture of the abomination later.

So: what have you built at home? What are you building? What are you planning to build?

I do lots of DIY. Some recent projects include this built-in cupboard/shelf/shoe-space (in the alcove on the left), which I'm particularly pleased with because the front is actually about 12 pieces of board but I cut and fitted them so well they looked like a single piece after painting. Also an enclosure for my 3D printer and this entire building (I built the building it's attached to as well). Last two links are to build videos not photos.

Ongoing I don't have much due to being very busy with a baby at the minute. Related to that, the thing I'm most looking forward to building in the future is a built-in/raised bed (and slide) for my son, but he's only four months old right now so that's a few years down the line.
