Thanks for the link. Listened to the whole thing. Golden Age classic cast with Jeanette McDonald and Melvyn Douglas, produced by Cecil B. DeMille. Hearing their voices when they are so young and full of power is really something.
Such a preoccupation with glamour. One of the guests referred to it as one of the three principles that makes a culture great. I guess dragging yourselves out of the Great Depression makes you fixate on shiny things.
