Incidentally and offtopic, but this is the first time I have ever had to use a BC/BCE century tag. @mycketforvirrad, what do you think about the format? Do you think it should it be '1st century bc', '1st century.bc', use BCE (before common era, the secular form) instead of BC (before Christ), or something else entirely?
My vote is BCE if for nothing else than the only professional historian that I know personally uses it exclusively over BC, so that's the expert that I default to.
