Came across this in my studies of an Asian language. With this, you don't have to install or configure anything in your local OS or device. Just visit with a web browser, type out the characters you need, then copy paste where you need it. In my case, trying to set up Linux to be able to type non-Latin characters turned out to be a big hassle (and I didn't succeed), so this was a nice find.
It seems to support a very impressive array of languages and writing systems, including all the major Asian ones.
