While trying to find a source for another comment elsewhere, I found this video I hadn't seen before. I think Kat Blaque does an incredible job on discussing racism and friending and forgiving racists in your life while acknowledging the nuances and complications to doing so. It is definitely an uncomfortable watch if you're a white person like myself, but if you let down your defenses and think about the questions being asked I think there is a lot to be learned. I would add to say that while the topic covered here is race, she also discusses this a bit in terms of homophobia as well. All in all a lot of good info, insight, and questions for anyone, but especially anyone who isn't in a marginalized group.
