This is the same stance that China and Russia are taking toward the world these days: we no longer dispute the primacy of capitalism, we just want all its benefits while bearing none of the responsibilities.
In short, everyone is fine with the game we are playing but only if they get to be the only cheater at the table. These kinds of sociopathies obviously aren’t sustainable. The younger generations are canceling more and more toxic behaviors. Can this one please be next?
