Sony Pictures' superhero films of the last decade were of… debatable quality. Two Spider-Man reboots (with “The Amazing…” series getting a lot of criticism, especially for the sequel), Venom (like a turd, in the wind), the two Ghost Rider films (although I belong to the minority that thinks that the second film was fun). I also distinctly remember hearing the news that Sony Pictures has financial issues, which is never a good sign.
Then again, technically Brightburn is probably going to be a horror film, so maybe that doesn't apply.
On the one hand, Evil Superman sounds like an awesome concept. On the other, it's Sony Pictures.
Just curious, what's wrong with Sony Pictures? I have a few ideas but I'd like to hear your reasons.
