Maria Franz's voice is as wonderful as ever, and Kai Faust brings his raspy shaman-like vocal counterpoint to her shimmering, kulning-like style.

I hate the state of public transport in this bloody country.
Best of luck getting tickets for Toronto though! Please post a gig report if you do go.

Ooh, I didn’t realize you from the UK. I lived downtown London for several years, in Tea Trade Wharf on Shad Thames just down the street from Tower Bridge. The public transportation in the city was decent so I never had much problem travelling anywhere around the city itself. But the few times I needed to travel outside the city was a massive PITA though, so I know what you mean. I always ended up renting a car whenever I needed to do that, but that’s a bit overkill for just going to a concert. :(
And will do with the report. I’m gonna see if I can entice any of my friends to join me before booking it though.

New album coming fairly soon too.

Thanks for the heads up about the new album.
p.s. Speaking of kulning, here's my favorite video of one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvtT3UyhibQ
