Just wanted to share this documentary. I watched Elvis a couple of weeks ago and it was ... something. We couldn't help but laugh at the fact that it was so similar to Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, but probably wasn't supposed to be.
I love regional music and appreciate the efforts of those who unearth its history and gems. This documentary is really just recorded performances from the festival, rather than narrative storytelling. I'm just thankful to experience the sights, sounds, and styles of this little festival from 1969.
