As a side note, I'm new here, but I'm a bit of a collector of niche, under-listened but high quality music, and I'd love to share lots of it, but was wondering if there was any etiquette on how often one should post individual songs vs just posting a big link dump in the weekly thread? On other sites I'd just throw out a bunch of link posts but it looks like things move a bit more slowly here so I don't want to spam the space.

I usually only post an individual song once every few days or so, so as not to overwhelm the place, since ~music is unfortunately one of the least active groups and Tildes is still pretty small. If you want to share a big batch of songs it's probably best to do it in the weekly topic... or post an individual song from that band/artist, then link to the rest in the comments of that topic (which I also do sometimes).
