What have you been listening to this week? You don't need to do a 6000 word review if you don't want to, but please write something! If you've just picked up some music, please update on that as well, we'd love to see your hauls :)
Feel free to give recs or discuss anything about each others' listening habits.

I went to see Caroline Rose perform live the other evening in San Francisco! She's got an amazing stage presence. She studied architecture at Wellesley, and I could see her architectural mindset at play in crafting a stage that played with light, color, and space. It was a beautiful and theatrical performance.
Her music blends folk, pop, alt rock. There's satire in there. There's synth. It's funky and hella fun.
Jeanie Becomes a Mom
Feel The Way I Want To
These are two of her must-watch music videos. You can instantly feel a unique musical energy.
Geordie Keifer has been my number one listen the past few months. Check him out. I think the genre is agro pop?

I've been listening to Billy Strayhorn's music lol. Real old school swing.
Really trying to branch out and find new music. I so easily get stuck listening to the same playlist for literally months on end. One thing that helps is making collab playlists on spotify with some of my friends, where we all put what we've been listening to lately. Here are some highlights I've found that way:
2:00am by Sarah Creen - love the washed/faded out sound in the intro, if anyone has rec's for songs with a similar sound let me know
The Calvary Cross - Live by Richard & Linda Thompson - just a great 10 min guitar jam
Nation of Heat by Joe Pug
The Devil's Advocate by Christopher Lee
I'm Amazed by My Morning Jacket - this was one of my contributions
Tons of great new metal, new albums from:
New singles from:
Secret Life - Fred again.. & Brian Eno
Gamelan music from Bali. Lots of percussion like gongs and chimes.
Massive throwback to the late 90s as I found a band I heard back then on TFI Friday called The Montrose Avenue had put their only album on Spotify.
