First four songs are bad. No mistakes is actually OK. Ghost town's kanye verses are great, but they are ruined by everyone else (probably gonna be edited like TLOP tracks and fixed up.) Violent crimes is a decent closer, but it's boring.
The bipolar thing on the cover made me cringe. Haven't managed a full listen yet, didn't mind a couple of tracks, but didn't really grab me. I'll give it another go at some point.

Politics aside I'm hyped for a new Kanye album. Can't wait to listen to it. Edit: I just finished it. It wasn't bad, but I was expecting something completely different after The Life of Pablo.

At only 23mins, its pretty nuts how decent this 'album' has turned out to be. Skip the ~1min talk intro, and its a tight project with some great music production. Kanye is an interesting dude. I...

I dig this one more than Pablo, for sure.
edit: I'm gonna have to re-evalute my use of actual tildes, now.

I agree, despite what he says sometimes I can't help but adore his passion for his music. And through everything that people say about him he remains positive, and I think this album he channeled...

Upsetting it's more of an LP release than an actual album, but damn it's got some killer grooves in it.
This really was a great album, but we really do live in weird times when the latest Kanye album aren't the best album of the week. The best album last week was the West produced Pusha T album...

I'm surprised to see his new album on Spotify. I thought that Tidal had exclusive rights to Bey's, Jay-Z's and Kanye's albums. Do I not know the whole story? Anyone know what's up with this?

4/10. Ye is the weakest 'ye effort yet.

Just finished my second run-through of the album. I gotta say I am so satisfied. His "dark place beats" had be drooling.

Album is very good, powerful. Kanye as a producer is so damn good

Looks like Tidal isn't paying royalties or paying them super late, so Kanye terminated the exclusivity for both Pablo and now his new album.
