It's pretty rare that they don't have an album or track already categorized. And using those will help keep things consistent, since that's where I usually get my tags from (and I assume @mycketforvirrad too?). But don't worry about it too much. Even if you don't put any tags, I (or mycketforvirrad) will usually get around to adding them. :)
Yeah, 90% of the genre tags I apply are usually by ear (and memory judgement) too. RYM is my go-to when I need to check, but Discogs is great too... although unfortunately they seem to be having...

After listening to some of the JK Flesh tracks, and a few other tracks from different artists in the same genre for comparison, I think the noise.power genre tag absolutely does fit, at least. But...

I just enjoy categorizing things, especially music since it helps me learn about new and interesting genres (like Power Noise!). :P
