Yeah, I love improv music, but even I have to make an effort to look past its blemishes (repetitiveness, occasional off-key notes, clashing harmonies, etc) in order to actually enjoy it as music, instead of as just an impressive feat of musicianship. Which is why, IMO, improv music is usually better listened to passively in the background, rather than focused on intently and exclusively, otherwise the blemishes tend to stand out even more.
Here's a vid I watched a few years ago where they actually get on and play on a train. My subways aren't this exciting.

Improv is amazing. I can't say I generally enjoy the music that emerges, but somehow different people are able to spontaneously synchronize like that.
