    I remember Hobo Johnson getting a lot of hate when he started getting traction, but I really appreciate he's still doing his own thing. I might just not be in the mood for what he does right now, his brand of melancholy over hopeful beats just isn't clicking with me anymore. Regardless of my feelings, still a decent song, and good to see he's still pumping out music.

      I never really understood the hate, TBH. I get that spoken word hip hop is not for everyone, but it felt like a lot of people who were critical of him, his music, and his fans were mostly just doing the whole "stop liking what I don't like!" and gatekeepery thing, which is obnoxious as hell. But yeah, I'm also glad to see he's back making music again, and still doing his own thing too, especially since I happen to dig his particular brand of melancholic/teenage angsty music.
