Damn, I'm typically skeptical of Misty's work after he got so braggadocious on Honeybear and thought he invented atheism on Pure Comedy, but this song is fantastic. Reminds me of some sort of weird cross between fight club, the shining, and the truman show and the song and video are perfect together. The lyrics are way closer to something he'd put on Fear Fun too. Might have to check out his new album after this.

I would suggest the new album very much. It is much more personal and makes him seem like an actual human.

Yeah I've since listened to it and really like it more than Honeybear and Pure Comedy, but less than Fear Fun, personally even though those are typically regarded as better than Fear Fun from what I can tell. The one thing is I wish he would have a bit more variation in his songs. They all feel like him giving the same 4 chords and slow slow pace without taking any musical risks. I think the closest he's gotten were Holy Shit and maybe Only Son of the Ladiesman. The last track on the album felt more in line with that and it was solid. Will for sure keep listening to it though.
