Their new album, Feeling Not Found, is out.

Origami Angel is making the best mid-2000s music this side of 2020.

Ooh, I'm excited, going to have to check it out. I'm a huge fan of "Somewhere City", so I'll have to check this out when I get a minute!

I’m also a big fan of ‘Somewhere City’, as well as Carly Cosgrove.

This new Origami Angel album (Feeling Not Found) is good IMO, but I still like Somehwere City more - some of the songs from FNF are a little too garbly-loud for me (not sure if that makes sense…but I generally prefer the slower parts of their songs / more twinkly math rock aspects).

Any other suggestions like Carly Cosgrove? Always trying to find more artists in that indie-emo/math rock vibe. I’ll personally throw out Michael Cera Palin’s 2018 EP “I don’t know how to explain it” and Majuro as some other artists I enjoy (that you might like checking out as well).
