I love listening to rap in other languages. Even though I don't understand the lyrics (or maybe because of that), I can just zone out and enjoy the flow more easily... which was great on this...

p.s. I was NOT expecting to ever hear Finnish rap at any point in my life though. I dig it! :P Know of any more good Finnish rap tracks, mycketforvirrad?
I went in not knowing what to expect. It made me think that Finnish seems a much better suited language for rap than Swedish, but I couldn't tell you precisely why... Perhaps the sing-song tones...

Yeah, there are definitely some languages that feel better suited to rap than others. Although I think any can be made to work with the right subgenre and artist. And some languages that seem like they wouldn't work for rap might actually surprise you. E.g. I listen to a fair amount of French music, and despite being a pretty smooth sounding language overall, it actually works really well for rap. The French hip hop scene is really mature though, and has been going strong since the 80s, so that might have something to do with it too though.
