I miss when they did color-sorted equalizers for genres, ever since they switched to using different sub-labels and stopped sorting/listing by genre I stopped being able to follow them. There is a lot of good stuff in there, but there is a lot of barely decent garbage.

I've also noticed that they seem to be outsourcing their mastering to different people now, there used to be a 'Monstercat' bounce-type sound in all their releases, because they were primarily mastered by the same internal team, but over the last few years that definitive 'sound' has disappeared. Now you can't easily tell just by listening if a track was released or accepted on Monstercat, just seems like their overall quality has diminished in exchange for more quantity.

UKF Dubstep on the other side though has somehow scraped through and has started being more coherent and releasing decent stuff again, and that was a surprise to me recently. Still a lot of it is boilerplate stuff, but they seem to have a higher quality to quantity ratio than I've seen in the last ten years.

Complaint: Track is way too short, should be about 75 seconds longer with a double time breakdown thrown in there, now that would be some old school stuff.
