I'm so excited that he's coming out with a new album. I had the pleasure of seeing him at the small outdoor ampitheater of a local suburb's arts center (the Arvada Center, for those familiar with the Denver area), and I have to say it was one of the more (as cliched as this description is) magical shows I've been to. His music backdropped with the sunset and a view of the Denver city lights on a warm summer evening was concert perfection, in my eyes. Even my partner, who only knew his Heartbeats cover from the playlist at the store we both worked at when we met, had an amazing time there.

He's coming back in May of this year (at a larger, indoor venue in Denver proper), but I dunno if I can even bring myself to see him anywhere here but outdoors. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll do a proper Red Rocks show one of these years.
