I used to watch a fair number of Korean films but can't say I've listened to much Korean music; K-pop doesn't cross my path very often (much to the chagrin of certain Black Pink fans, I'm sorry! lol!). But I just organically stumbled upon this wonderful Korean folk singer and I really like this. I've never heard (traditional?) Korean sung inn this style and this has a great modern vibe to it. I can't stop listening. What great music. I wish her all the best.
(Ninja Edit: I see from Wikipedia that she's reasonably well-known in Korea. I approve. :) )

Song Sohee is so talented! The other day I also listened to her cover of the eponymously titled song from the anime film Suzume. What a great way to showcase her technical talent! Suzume is a really cool song and it's super impressive how well the Korean lyrics work with the same pacing as the Japanese version. I had to watch a live recording of the Japanese version to convince myself what I was hearing was true - and it is! So cool. Granted, I don't know how closely related the lyrics are, but it sounds impressive!
I haven't seen this Suzume anime film, and it seems like it'll be soul-crushingly sad, but I may have to give it a watch anyway.
