One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums.
Part of why I like it so much is the lyrics. Instead of the regular dark tales of pain, suffering, and death available in the death metal genre, there's a more tangible subject: plastic and its effect on the environment.
Apart from that, the really heavy riff coming in right after the almost purely rythmical intro is so very satisfying. I also appreciate the technical skill required by the music they make. Everything toghether makes for an awesome experience.
Thank you for listening! It's difficult to share this kind of music with friends and family, most just dismiss it as noise and want it turned off. I really appreciate you being open-minded about it!

Cool to see some Gojira on here. I saw them in concert a few years back and they were great. Remembrance is one of my favorite songs. Super technical and a nice, simple, heavy riff....

Death of me on the same album is great too, I love the unconventional groovy rythm in the verses overlaid with the growling. Seeing them in concert is on my have-to-do list.

Thanks for sharing this. It's definitely outside of my normal music world. Never thought I would hear environmentally themed metal.

You should really check out Devin Townsend - Earth Day.

Art of dying is fucking amazing. Heard it several years ago.
