This may be an obvious point for some of us, but I think it's really worthwhile to get commentary on misogyny in hip hop that comes from the inside and isn't out for blood against the genre and the culture. I feel like it's a much easier pill to swallow when what it does well is recognized alongside the criticism, and I don't think there's anyone out there who thinks Murs is trying to sabotage the genre.
