I haven´t listened to the new album but I heard read great reviews about it. I think he is some one of a few producers who successfully escaped the Tape-House bubble which was building up over the last years. I totally get your reference with Nym - I think both have the same dreamish style coming up in their tracks. Another reference I have when listening to this song are the DJ Koze tracks from his last LP - especially when it comes to the weird/unusual sounds.
Great track and exciting background story - I haven't heard of Project Cybersyne before and just browsed the wikipedia article. Can you recommend any texts or documentations that I can fill my...

This is more sophisticated than anything I've heard from Ross From Friends to date. I always really wanted to like his stuff just because I think it's such a great name but to date everything I've heard has been a bit slow and a bit lo-fi for my tastes. I tend to prefer my electronic music harder and faster and I have never got the lo-fi thing, especially tape. But this I like.

I absolutely love this album - particularly the track following this called Project Cybersyne (an interesting rabbit hole in it's own right).
