I was listening to the fabulous new(ish), Doc and Merle box-set from Owsley Stanley's archives, Never The Same Way Once today, and thought of this version of Doc & Merle playing the hell out of Utah Phillip's Rock, Salt and Nails. It's an utterly transportive musical experience in my book, highly recommended. I would have linked to another version that is the sole song in the video (rather than a time-link to a middle of a show) but man, there's just nothing like this particular cut.
