One or two tracks I could do without, but overall I'm really fucking happy with this album and would love to hear more

Edit: After several more listens, I fucking love it. I could still do without Stepping Stone and Nice Guys, but the rest of the album is damn solid. First 3 tracks are amazing, the Paul Skit, and Not Alike are amaizng.

If Eminem released the first three tracks on this along with the "Em Calls Paul" skit at the end as an EP or something, this would've been a killer statement proving Eminem as a respectable rapper in 2018, even taking the usual edgy dumb shit into account. "The Ringer" in particular blew me away and made me think I was going to hear the AotY from Eminem of all people.

..but the rest is just a slightly sharper and more motivated-sounding version of what you expect from post-Relapse Eminem. There are some high moments (he really makes the most of an awful beat for parts of Stepping Stone), but we get the bad hooks, forced punchlines, and all that which we've all said for his last few.

Still, this is much better than I would've expected. Good job making an ok album, Em...it's been a while. Build on this, please.

He sticks on this very well for the first two or three songs, the Paul skit is alright, the Em Calls Paul Skit is great, and the rest of it is mostly mediocre to atrociously bad, albeit some of the awful parts are absolutely hilariously bad, so there's a small upside. I honestly kind of enjoyed Justin Vernon (I think that's Justin Vernon?) in his part on the album, and there's a few enjoyable pieces now and then, but as a whole it's just not good.
