I stumbled upon this song after @EightRoundsRapid's ~music topic earlier today of a Senegalese Kora song and have just kept going back to listen to it over and over again since then, since it's so lovely... so I thought I should properly share it. :)

I absolutely love that sort of mixing of traditional folk instruments + modern rock music. That was great! Also, that Nyanyero instrument reminds me of the Morin khuur, a Mongolian horsehead (two-string) fiddle which Tengger Cavalry uses in their metal music. :P

Thanks for all the links, especially the Real World Records channel... that should definitely keep me busy for a while. :P

p.s. Here is another of my favorite songs featuring a Morin khuur + some awesome throat singing that you might appreciate as well.

I am a fan of everything throat singing. From older Yath-Ka, Huun-Huur-Tu and Altan Urag to more modern and more experimental like Tanya Tagaq *(which was one of my best music discoveries in the past years). She even deserves a link: Tanya Tagaq - Uja
