I personally prefer live versions of music, no matter how imperfect, since I find all those imperfections in both the performance and recording, as well as the extraneous noises like the crowd applauding actually add to the experience for me, not detract from it. I also find the "perfection" of studio recorded music, especially modern stuff where autotune and best-take mixing is used to excess, to feel incredibly sterile and "safe".
