Ahh this deep youtube corner is one of my favorites. I stumbled on a video of someone playing Aerials on 4 NEMA stepper motors. Totally wild stuff. Sometimes I think of people living in a post apocalyptic wasteland wading thru dumps to recover CD drives in order to make instruments. It would make an interesting short film

FLOPPOTRON is kind of hit or miss with me. Some songs work really well with the floppy disks/hard drives clicks & clacks, and the flatbed scanners stepper motor whining... but in this one the sounds they created matched the original pretty remarkably closely IMO. It probably helps that it's one of my favorite songs too though. :P
It's interesting, because one of YouTube's musical memelords Chris Kogos recently posted this, which includes a Krabby version of Californication.
