If you like Apparitions, let me suggest a buttload of my favourite songs of his: Suburbia, Strange Days, Jenni's Song, A Boy And His Machine Gun, Truffle Pigs, Tripoli, Advertising On Police Cars, Empty Road, Odette, Champions of Nothing, Empty's Theme Park, Non Populus, How it Goes, Guns of Carolina, Via Dolorosa, Garden of Knives, Los Alamos, Days Come Down

Huzzah.. another MG/MGB fan! His live/acoustic version of Tripoli is one of my absolute favorite songs of all time. And for anyone who hasn't heard of MG but like what they hear so far, I would definitely recommend checking out the songs on LoanWolf's list. Strange Days and Jenni's Song in particular are considered Canadian classics and still get a ton of radio play here, even now.

Matthew Good Band is one of my all-time favorite Canadian alternative rock bands from the 90s and it's always bothered me that they never seemed to make it outside of Canada, despite being one of the best selling rock bands here and having earned so many accolades. Matthew Good has also been remarkably open over the years about his struggles with mental illness (bipolar disorder) and he is a bit of a hero of mine in that regard. So I just wanted to share this rather unknown (outside of Canada) gem of a band with people.
